Reactions of Some Grapevine Rootstock Cuttings to Mutagenic Applications

Grapevine (Vitis spp.) is one of the most important socio-economically plants in global scale, and need for its breeding increasing. In viticulture, mutation more promising than crossbreeding new genotypes from natural genetic diversity. Polyploid outperform their diploid relatives several respects. this study, efficacy oryzalin N2O mutagens induction polyploidy was investigated by applying different doses durations to forced cuttings 41B [Chasselas vinifera L.) × Vitis berlandieri Planch)] Fercal [(Vitis x berlandieri) 333 EM] rootstocks.
